The criticism of Samsung has been growing in recent years, as the Exynos chips can no longer keep up with the Snapdragon chips. The S20 lineup is also affected, about that we already reported this week.
Samsung: Petition is making the rounds
Meanwhile, the displeasure of the users grows and it even became started a petitionwho already has over 10,000 supporters. This is now making the rounds and is certainly not the best marketing for the new Galaxy flagship from Samsung.
I doubt that a petition will change anything, because the decision for the current strategy is certainly a little more complex. There is no official reason, but there are many assumptions. At the end of 2019, however, it also became clear that the Exynos division was not running as well as expected Samsung had to close a plant in Texas.
Probably the best way would be to end the matter here and bring the new note lineup to market worldwide with the Snapdragon 865. That would also mean less software work. But I can well imagine that it is not easy for Samsung to completely separate itself from this department.
