Reuters reported that Nium is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s biggest project under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 strategy. which aims to reduce dependence on oil industry revenues and transform the country’s economy. This includes developing sports.

For Nium, it is a 26,500 sq km (10,230 sq mi) high-tech project in the Red Sea. This will include a carbon-free city, The Line, as well as industrial and logistics areas.
