The Seattle Mariners dedicated a new Legacy Plaza at T-Mobile Park on Wednesday, Sept. 3, featuring a tribute commemorating the franchise’s 116-win season in 2001, according to local reports. Located just inside the center-field gate, the plaza anchors a new fan engagement area designed to benefit youth baseball and softball across Washington state. At the center of the installation stands a statue depicting Mike Cameron and Mark McLemore raising the American flag following the team’s American League West title-clinching victory on Sept. 19, 2001. That campaign was an AL-record 116-win season.

T-Mobile Park Plaza Details And Fan Purchasing Options

The newly unveiled plaza incorporates a display wall featuring commemorative bats and baseball medallions available for public and season-ticket holder purchase. Each item can be customized with personal messages, giving supporters a permanent physical presence inside the ballpark. The inventory includes 116 commemorative bats priced at $1,000 each, with every bat representing a win from the 2001 season. In addition, the organization made at least 2,000 baseball medallions available at $250 apiece. Thursday.
