The prosecution conducted a surprise search and seizure of CJ subsidiaries, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and former employees of the Blue House, where former Democratic Party Vice President Lee Jeong-geun worked for a year.
Noh Young-min, the Blue House chief of staff at the time, is suspected of being involved in the favorable employment of former Vice President Lee.
Reporter Kim Ji-in covered the story.

Prosecutors seized and searched the office of Korea Complex Logistics, a subsidiary of CJ Logistics, located in Gunpo, Gyeonggi-do.
This is where Lee Jung-geun, former deputy general secretary of the Democratic Party of Korea, who ran for the 21st general election in 2020 and failed, worked as a full-time councilor for a year.
At the same time, the prosecution searched the office of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the home of an employee who worked in the personnel office of the Blue House at the time.
Prosecutors believe that outside influence is behind the fact that political personnel have taken the logistics industry position, which was usually occupied by retired officials of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
Noh Young-min, the chief of staff at the time, intervened through the main personnel office and the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
It is known that the prosecution captured the circumstances of Roh’s involvement through text messages that were exchanged at the time.
However, Roh’s side is said to be in the position that ‘the job application is not true at all’.
Former vice president Lee has already been arrested and charged on a charge of receiving 1 billion won by a businessman named Park by claiming his friendship with former members of the government, and the former chief Roh is also one of the targets.

“Noh Young-min even sent me KakaoTalk exchanges.”
The mobile phone of the former vice president seized by the prosecution is said to have an app that automatically recorded calls, and a significant portion of the contents of previous calls were stored.
There is hope that the investigation could be extended to other opposition party figures.
