Arguably the best thing that could happen to the film Cats is that it is now available for viewing at home while everyone is stuck at home. Cats is now Rorschach saying he is not stuck here with us; we’re stuck here with this. At some point, curiosity will take over you, and you will say to yourself, “Is this Cats really that bad? “and the answer is:” It’s worse “, but you will always wonder and check, this is what I imagine happened to the actor / scriptwriter / director / producer Seth Rogen.
Rogen decided to get stoned and live-tweet Tom hooper“S Catswhich, to be fair, isn’t the worst decision. At least you will be pleasantly cooked while this ill-conceived nightmare unfolds. What I like most about Rogen’s viewing tweets Cats is that even if it’s high enough, he sort of wears his director’s cap and shows all the weird decisions and how it was done. For example:
I have trouble getting the actors to rehearse for 20 minutes. They forced these people to train to lick their hands and rub them in their hair for weeks !!!

I think Rogen’s most incisive comment comes at the end: “Like why even make these actors appear on the set? They play cats. “He’s not wrong! It’s a weird attempt to get the stars power over this stuff, but each actor just seems the worst for wear and tear, and I’d love to hear director Tom Hooper explain why they don’t didn’t just go around with unknown dancers and singers. If the brand is long-standing Broadway musical and Universal felt confident enough to put a ballerina in the lead role, why tie Idris Elba and Judi Dench in this thing?
If you live in a state where the weed is legal / decriminalized and have no trouble getting it during quarantine, you might as well follow Rogen’s example and look Cats stoned.
