shardul thakur, delhi capitals set to release shardul thakur ahead of ipl auction reports

The last date for teams to release their players before the Indian Premier League star auction for the 2023 season is 15th of next month. All the franchises are said to have a rough agreement on who to drop from the team. Meanwhile, there have been suggestions about who are the players who are likely to avoid Delhi Capitals.

The famous star Shardul Thakur, who is currently one of the leading players of the Indian team, is the main player who is about to be released from the Delhi Capitals team. Cricbus released this information last night. Shardul Thakur is the player who bought Delhi Capitals for Rs 10.75 crore in the last IPL star auction. But the star was not in season to show the game for the money received.

120 runs and 15 wickets from Thakur from 14 matches in the IPL 2022 season. Shardul, who was tireless in scoring runs, had little to contribute to the team’s good performance.

According to reports, Delhi Capitals have plans to release Thakur from the team and buy him from the auction at a lower price. Along with Thakur, wicketkeeper-batsman KS Bharat and Indian batsman Mandeep Singh will also be left out by Delhi. With captain Rishabh Pant, the chances of KS Bharat getting a chance in the playing eleven are slim. So Bharat, currently one of the best wicket takers in the country, is also better off leaving Delhi. On the other hand, Mandeep Singh had a miserable performance last season. This is why the star has to go out.
