‘Shock’ Hwang Ui-jo, drops to the 2nd team

[골닷컴] Reporter Kim Dong-ho = Hwang Ui-jo is going through a difficult time on the Greek stage. An unprecedented degradation occurred to the second group.

Greek media ‘SDNA’ reported on the 21st (Korea time), “Manager Mitchell Hwang sent Ui-Jo down to train with the B Team.

Hwang Ui-jo signed with Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window and was immediately loaned to Olympiacos. The former team Girondain Bordeaux (France) had been dismissed and announced the sale of key players to solve the financial problem, and Hwang Eui-jo also decided to take on a new challenge. Furthermore, as the contract period is until next summer, this summer was the right time to say goodbye.

Hwang Ui-jo has been receiving love calls from various quarters as he has managed to score double figures in French Ligue 1 for the past two seasons in a row, and he was the only one to do his part despite a sluggish Girondain Bordeaux. In fact, he was linked with Olympique de Marseille, Montpellier, Nantes, Stade Brestois (above France) and Wolverhampton Wanderers (England). However, there was no real offer, and I ended up wearing the Olympiacos shirt.

Right after the transfer, he started getting the chance to play in the first game. However, there was only one assist, and the beast hanger did not explode. In the middle of the season, he visited Korea for the A game in September and played two games, but even this time, Hwang Ui-jo did not show the best of his scoring skills. When Hwang Ui-jo was in good shape, he did not show up, but instead suffered from a residual injury.

Even after returning to his team after the A game, he seems to be suffering. Here, there was an unprecedented situation of dismissal from the 2nd group. Hwang Ui-Jo started in both Europa League games against Karabakh, but was substituted in the middle of the second half without much of a performance. Also, in the match against PAOK last weekend, he was replaced at the last minute of the second half and played the field for only 6 minutes.

‘SDNA’ said, “Disappointment is spreading over Hwang Ui-jo, who thought he was a killer but was not helping the team. He was the player who gave Olympiacos the biggest disappointment at the start of the season .Coach Mitchell gave Hwang a chance against Karabakh, but it seems this is the time for Hwang to leave.”
