Former Italian Council President Silvio Berlusconi was hospitalized in Milan for a heart problem, a spokesman for his party Forza Italia said on Tuesday. His days are not in danger.
The 79-year-old businessman has led the Italian government four times. The hospitalization of Silvio Berlusconi was deemed necessary due to “heart failure,” said a statement from San Raffaele hospital.
Berlusconi, who has lived with a pacemaker for nine years, will undergo tests “in the coming days” to determine an appropriate treatment, the hospital added.
