[ソウル 19日 ロイター] –On the 19th, South Korean President Yoon Seok-you accused the strike of a subcontractor at the Daewoo Shipbuilding Marine Shipyard as “illegal.” The possibility of government intervention has increased.

At a shipyard near Geoje in southern South Korea, about 100 subcontractors have been striking for a 30% wage increase since late June, occupying the main dock.

Daewoo, the third largest shipbuilder in Japan, said it had lost more than $ 400 million by mid-July.

President Yin said, “Illegal acts should not be tolerated.” When asked about the possibility of government intervention, Yonhap News said the public and the government “waited long enough.”

Choo Kyung-ho, the Minister of Planning and Finance, said on the 18th that the occupation of the dock was an “apparent illegal act” and “we will take strict measures based on law and order.”
