In an effort to keep players at home and isolate themselves as the coronavirus pandemic continues, Square Enix restarted 2013 Grave robber free on Steam.
Although the gift arrives as part of a Stay Home and Play campaign, the game will remain in the libraries of those who take advantage of the offer forever. Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris are also available free of charge.
To catch your copies and have fun while we all play our part and stay at home, the games are available from now until 11:59 p.m. PDT Monday March 23 (7:00 a.m. in the UK on Tuesday 24 March). At the time of this writing, unfortunately there is not yet such an offer for the console or Stadia version.
“We are warmed by the stories of communities coming together to support those who need it in times of uncertainty, and following the guidelines to protect the most vulnerable among us,” said Square Enix. in a blog post (Thank you, Eurogamer).
“The players are part of a global community. We regularly gather online to restore balance in the fantasy realms, recruit crew members to save the universe from science fiction threats and indulge in healthy competition through action games with high octane ratings. For others, going to work online and playing are unknown territory.
“With that in mind, we are giving a gift to our community,” continued the company. “From now until Monday, March 23 at 11:59 p.m. PDT, we are releasing Tomb Raider (2013) and Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris for free on Steam.”
