Sun and scattered clouds for Labor Day

0

QUAD CITIES, Iowa (KWQC) – We will enjoy several dry hours for Labor Day, with sun and clouds scattered over the region. Temperatures will be a little cooler than we experienced over the weekend, with highs only reaching the mid-60s in some of our northern counties to the high-70s south. Showers and thunderstorms re-enter the region this evening, with areas of moderate to heavy rainfall possible overnight through Tuesday. This will signal the start of a cool and humid period in the coming days. Look for chances of daily rain until Saturday, with highs only reaching the 1960s.

Labor Day: Mostly sunny, then increasing cloudiness. High: 78 °. Wind: NE 5-10 mph.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Moderate to heavy rainfall possible. Low: 55 °. Wind: SE 5-10 mph.

TUESDAY: Very cloudy and unusually cool with mostly scattered rains. Moderate to heavy rainfall possible. High: 62 °.
