Switzerland knocked out mighty Spain in the UEFA Nations League. The victory of the Swiss fighters was 2-1 in the match held in Zaragoza. It was Spain’s first defeat in five group games. Manuel Akanji and Briel Mbolo scored for Spain. After 2018, Spain’s 22-match home unbeaten streak also ended.

Coach Luis Enrique has placed six Barcelona players in the starting lineup. The midfield trio of Pedri, Gavi and Sergio Busquets came to the field. Real Madrid’s Marco Asensio, PSG’s Pablo Sarabia and Ferran Torres also made the starting XI. Manchester City star Akanji scored the first goal for Spain through a corner kick in the 21st minute.
