The dbrand site has been infected! No, we are not talking about the current global pandemic. We are not talking about a computer virus that will hijack your bank account … but it is not far away. Dbrand limited edition Teardown skins are back and still just as contagious. There is no known cure: you can only hope that your wallet will be strong enough to survive the assault.
That’s right, back by popular demand, Teardown skins are now a permanent member of the dbrand family. They are available with the original Gloss finish, as well as a brand new “Ultramatte” finish designed to give Teardown the soft touch it still deserves.
Be warned: removable skins are known to multiply. You may be buying just one right now, but case studies suggest that the average person ends up buying … * checks the notes * … until seven.
New additions to the Teardown collection
Thanks to 135,000 votes cast in the dismantling election, a series of new devices have been added to the original Teardown range. These include:
- K20 / K20 Pro / Mi 9T / Mi 9T Pro (These are the same devices. You didn’t hear that from us.)
- Pocophone F1
- OnePlus 7T Pro
- OnePlus 8
- OnePlus 8 Pro
- Samsung s10e
- Samsung s20
- Samsung S20 Plus
- Samsung S20 Ultra
- 12.9 ”iPad Pro (2020, Gen 4)
- iPad Pro 11 ”(2020, Gen 2)
- MacBook Pro 16 ”(Do you know how many MacBooks were killed for these skins?)
- 15-inch MacBook Pro (of course, Zack liked it.)
- MacBook Pro 13 ”(but still …)
- MacBook Air 13 ”(as many MacBook.)
Regular disassembly updates
Over time, even more flagship devices will be added to the Teardown list as Zack continues to tear apart electronics, for both scientific and sadistic reasons. Legacy devices will also regularly join the Teardown collection (Zack dissects the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro while you read this). True to its name, each supported device has been demolished and scanned with what dbrand calls “the most advanced scanner in the world”. In case there is any doubt that what you are seeing is 100% authentic phone guts.
Removable skins are also well known for their Easter eggs, like Zack’s classic joke which “Glass is glass and broken glass“as seen on S20 Ultra skin. Easter may be over, but at least you can count on dbrand to provide eggs.
Go get Teardown now
Review: The world wanted more Teardown skins, dbrand has forced them, and now more devices will be continuously added until the global collapse of human society. You’re welcome. Now make good use of your wallet and take these seven Teardown skins.
