“I have always stayed out of politics, but this goes beyond common sense at these crucial moments for my beloved country,” he wrote in a video showing his disgust at a message from the president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, in which he tells the population not to stop going out.
Visibly upset the singer took her social networks to avoid remaining silent and expressing her disagreement.
“No, it is not good to get together. It is not good to go out in groups, it is not good to go out. Health professionals have constantly indicated that we have to be alone,” explains Thalia.
“No, please, gentlemen. Why shouldn’t we go out? Because we don’t know if we are infected or not, therefore we can continue spreading the virus without even knowing it.”
In the video shared by Thalia, where part of the message AMLO gave from Oaxaca this weekend is shown, the singer recalled that it can take up to 14 days develop symptoms, but there are infected people who will not develop visible symptoms, hence their concern.
“People with a compromised immune system, the elderly, pregnant women, premature babies, everyone in general, are put at risk.”
“It cannot be that after listening and re-listening to the instructions of the experts to see all the domino effect that is happening on the planet there are still people who do not understand it and do not take it seriously.”
