A few minutes after the Emergency Operations Center announced that the so-called “leisure walks” will be authorized for Cordoba families on weekends and holidays, the Municipality of Córdoba confirmed that it will give the green light to the activity as and as proposed by the health agency from this weekend.
“We appeal to social responsibility. People have been thoroughly complying with the quarantine, which is why we understand that recreational outings will be respected by the people of Cordoba. The Municipality, through the Sports Undersecretariat, will carry out preventive controls in some parts of the city. But we believe that people are responsible enough to act as requested by the coe because they have done so in all this time, “municipal sources remarked to The voice.
How are the walks
This protocol contemplates the possibility of doing leisure walks, without stopping, within a radius of 500 meters from the person’s home, with a maximum duration of 60 minutes and only once a day. These outings can be done individually or with the coexisting family nucleus and only on weekends, Saturdays from 2 to 6 pm and Sundays and holidays from 8 to 6 pm.
The outputs will be enabled according to ID number: on even dates, this activity may be carried out by people whose ID is terminated in an even number; and on odd dates, those who have odd DNI termination. It is necessary to clarify that, in the event of family nuclei departures, the DNI of the older person will be taken into account. Children and adolescents up to 16 years of age must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In these recreational walks, the physical distance of two meters must be maintained with respect to other groups and the use of non-surgical chinstrap will be compulsory for all people, from the age of four. Up to two years old they must go out in a small box with a plastic cover.
Boys and girls can use bicycles and skateboards, but always within the defined radius and with the presence of a responsible adult.
It should be noted that the use of children’s games or devices to complement physical activity such as “healthy places” and other sports equipment is not allowed. The use of benches and tables in public spaces should be avoided.
It is also important to emphasize that no person with respiratory symptoms or fever or those with risk factors should go out. People with disabilities must maintain compliance with their particular protocols.
This protocol does not include competitive or high performance training.
