(ANSA) – MILAN, JUNE 28 – After 22 years at the helm of the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, Sergio Escobar has resigned.
Initially he had given his willingness to stay until November, then there was talk of the natural expiry of his mandate in September. In the letter sent to the Minister of Cultural Heritage Dario Franceschini Escobar, on the other hand, he presented the “resignation as Director of the Theater, effective July 31, 2020”. At this point, therefore, the time to find his replacement accelerates, which will have to be chosen within a month. (HANDLE).
