◀ anchor ▶

The parliamentary inquiry begins today.

The ruling and the opposition parties clash because of the controversy surrounding the diplomacy of former President Yun Seok-yeol’s trip and the Audit and Inspection Board’s notice of an investigation into former President Moon Jae-in.

The National Assembly’s Foreign Affairs and Unification Committee, which was held in the morning, collapsed after a fierce battle between the opposition parties and the opposition parties.

Reporter Jo Hee-won reports.

The People’s Power Measures Meeting was held before the government audit.

The People’s Power has repeatedly pressed the Audit and Inspection Board’s request for a written investigation, saying it was an overreaction to former President Moon Jae-in’s decision to refuse to do so.

“I can’t help but ask if I’m asking for permission to be given to Moon Jae-in. Rather, it seems much more strange to be angry like this.”

In a meeting with reporters on the way to work, President Yoon Seok-yeol also said that it was inappropriate for the president to comment on the investigation by the Audit and Inspection Board, but that ‘finding the truth without sanctuary’ was the principle. .

[윤석열 대통령]

“(I wonder what the President thinks about the situation that nobody can be an exception or a sanctuary.) Isn’t that a general principle? Because the Audit and Inspection Board is a constitutional institution and such an institution that operate independently of the Office of the President…”

The Democratic Party announced yesterday that it would accuse the Audit and Inspection Board of abuse of power.

“In the name of the people, I strongly condemn the Audit and Inspection Board, which has gone beyond government servants and has been reduced to a contract investigation venue by the power of prosecution.”

In the parliamentary meeting that followed, he attacked the passport, saying that it clearly beat the former government in order to cover up the controversy about President Yoon’s travel diplomacy.

[이재명/더불어민주당 대표]

“The national prestige and national interest are in free fall because of the diplomatic disaster. The country’s chief executive does not even remember his comments a few days ago, and he represses the media as a hostile accusation.”

There was a strong conflict between the opposition and the opposition parties, as expected, in the examination of the Foreign Reunification Committee, which began in such an atmosphere.

[윤호중/더불어민주당 의원]

“Our president goes out on the diplomatic stage and is not treated like that, and he does things that are not right…”

[정진석/국민의힘 비대위원장]

“You described the Korea-Japan summit as trivial. You went to Japan together yesterday, did you feel that way?”

The opposition and opposition parties had a tense battle over the presence of Foreign Affairs Minister Park Jin, whose motion to dismiss was passed in the National Assembly, and in the end, the suspension was declared before the first question was even asked. .
