UEFA Nations League: Diogo Dalot with two goals; Portugal with a stunning win against the Czech Republic; Spain defeated | Portugal cruise to a 4-0 League of Nations win against the Czech Republic

Portugal Strong won the UEFA Nations League match. The former champions defeated the Czech Republic four goals to nil.

Defensive player Diogo Dalot’s double goals gave Cristiano and his team a great victory in the match at Sinobo Stadium. Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Jota also scored for Portugal.

Diogo’s first goal was assisted by Rafael Leo in the 33rd minute. Bruno Fernandes took the lead in first half injury time. Mario Rui opened the way for the goal. Diogo netted again in the 52nd minute with a pass from Bruno Fernandes.

Diogo Jota scored the fourth goal for Portugal in the 82nd minute of the match assisted by Cristiano Ronaldo. Portugal had 56 percent of the ball in the game. With the victory, Portugal, with 10 points, came first in League A Group Two with three wins from five games.

In the other group game, Spain lost at home to Switzerland. Switzerland won 2-1. Manuel Akanji in the 21st minute and Breel Embol scored the goals for Switzerland in the 58th minute. Jordi Alba scored Spain’s consolation goal in the 55th minute.

It was Spain’s first Nations League defeat of the season. With this, Spain slipped to second place in Group A. The team has eight points from five games with two wins, two draws and one loss. The match between Spain and Portugal on the 28th of this month is crucial.
