As a result of the persecution, Al Ihsan Hospital’s parking attendant’s finger was broken after being hit by a sharp weapon.
After the incident, the police conducted an investigation until they arrested two of the main perpetrators in the riot, namely the US and AT.
In fact, one of the two perpetrators was shot in the leg for trying to escape when he was about to be arrested.
Bandung Police Chief Senior Commissioner Pol Hendra Kurniawan said the persecution began when several motorbike riders passed through the parking lot at Ihsan Baleendah Hospital.
Of the three two-wheeled vehicles, only one carries an entrance ticket. While the other two vehicles went through the portal.
However, when the third vehicle was about to pass, suddenly the portal dropped, making the passenger of the vehicle fall.
“This triggers an act (article) 170 about beatings to this guard,” Hendra said at Mapolresta Bandung, Monday (6/29/2020).
However, continued Hendra, who did the persecution not the driver who fell. But motorists who use four-wheeled vehicles behind the two-wheeled vehicles.
Hendra continued, they are a group of perpetrators who chased the victims.
“These are the ones who chased so that the fingers (victims) broke up. We, the country must not lose to thugs like this. We will solve this case,” he said
After the incident, said Hendra, his party succeeded in securing two of the main perpetrators in the riot, namely the US and AT.
“We can secure two people but there are still some that must be followed up on,” he said.
Hendra continued, one of the two perpetrators who was arrested was shot in the leg for trying to resist when it was secured.
“This perpetrator fled to South Cidaun, Cianjur. We caught him there,” he said.
Currently, said Hendra, his party is still developing this case because there are still perpetrators who have not been secured.
“It must develop, the point is we see whoever we follow up arrogantly,” he said.
As for his actions, the perpetrators were charged with an emergency law article, and Article 170 regarding violence that resulted in injuries, with the threat of 9 years in prison.
