WWE Superstar Keith Lee revealed a horrific encounter with a “young woman” who he says had a drink in a Dallas bar.
Lee appeared in Ring of Honor, Evolve and Pro Wrestling Guerilla before signing with WWE in 2018. Sports Illustrated ranked him as the tenth best male wrestler of 2017.
The 35-year-old also starred in Netflix’s comedy film “The Main Event”, which was released in April.

On Wednesday, Lee contributed to the #SpeakingOut movement – in which several wrestlers exposed sexual irregularities within the industry – revealing that he had been “drugged and raped” by an unknown woman.
Lee described how a young woman offered him a drink after repeatedly rejecting her passes, only to lose consciousness soon after and wake up naked in a hotel room.
He captioned the message: “Not out of spite. Not because I want to hurt someone. Not out of hatred or anger. I just want you to know. “
“I’m going to share with you a story that very, VERY few know. I watch friends and associates #SpeakOut. I see how much strength they need to tell their stories. I’m going to share one of mine, ”said Lee.
“I can’t lock the deadline because of the haze it was for me. However, I lived in (Texas) during this period. Maybe 2016 or 2017.
“I was in Dallas for an event, or maybe just to visit my family. Then I went to an old bar where I visited and sometimes sang.
“It’s been a while, so I didn’t know the atmosphere. But the mood for music kept me interested.
“In the end, I was able to sing a song. Then a young woman asked to sit with me. I was alone, so I didn’t mind and I welcomed her.
“Then we talked about the beauty of music and books. Random life philosophies. It was really a pleasant conversation.
“I am often told that I am…. unconscious…. when someone is interested in me. And I should agree because I didn’t realize the interest until she expressed it openly. Which I refused because I was taken away at the time.
“She was disappointed, but still pleasant. She would continue to make passes throughout the night, citing everything she wanted to do to me. I politely refused and explained that I liked the company, but that the cat could not continue.
“I then offered to buy her a drink as an excuse before I went to the bathroom. She refused and said that she would buy me one because she liked my song so much that I could go to the bathroom. I expressed my gratitude and went to put on a song before heading to the bathroom.
“I would come back to cold drinks. We would continue to discuss the types of training I do. I tried to blackmail her, but she acted shy and refused, saying that she liked to listen to others, but did not want attention on her. I even offered help for “Bohemian Rhapsody”. It’s kind of my date when people are nervous about karaoke. I try to be inviting. And this song is pure pleasure!
“Unfortunately … it’s just here that things get extremely blurry for me. No matter how much my brain dies, all I remember is struggling to get on stage.
“I remember waking up naked in a hotel room (I don’t even remember if it was my own room), confused and panicked. I was lucky to have my essentials, such as a wallet and a phone. But… who knows all that I have lost.
“To date…. I don’t know what happened. Since then, I’ve tried to forget about it…. But I’m telling this story, so that people can understand. Anyone can be a victim. N ‘ANYONE.
“That’s why I stopped drinking at random. And why it remains such a rarity to this day. “
Lee was inundated with messages of support after sharing his story, but when a Twitter user wondered if the post helped the #SpeakingOut movement, the 145kg wrestling star didn’t hesitate.
“I expected someone of your level of ignorance to appear … even if it wasn’t for you.” Why are you in this thread? “Lee replied.
“Are you looking for details? I was drugged and raped. That’s all you get. Aggression is aggression. Anyway, that’s what it is. Go away. “
