Second day of the cargo union strike… Worry about damage to cement and steel

The second day of the general strike which included 25,000 members of the Cargo Workers Union was reached.

If the strike is prolonged as some cement factories and steel mills experience transport disruption due to suspension of transport, the fallout is expected to spread throughout the industry.

With the ‘Safe Price System’ which guarantees the minimum transport cost depending on the distance, the government does not narrow its position, arguing for a 3 year extension, and the Cargo Federation demands action and permanently expand targets.

The government is in a position to receive a strong response by projecting a ‘business start-up order’ demand.
