Coach Paulo Bento announced a change to the best 11 in the evaluation match against Cameroon tomorrow (27th).

Against the question of whether Lee Kang-in, the attention-grabbing ‘Golden Boy’, was hired or not, he did not immediately answer.

The national team revealed their final training ahead of the evaluation match against Cameroon.

The Taegeuk warriors, including Captain Son Heung-min, warmed up with glowing expressions and their condition rose.

Kim Min-jae from the defense and Lee Kang-in from the new midfield engine also showed light movements.

Unlike the players, coach Bento was a bit sensitive and distracted.

He said he would experiment with other players in certain positions such as defence, but repeatedly emphasized that he was satisfied with the defense and indicated that he was not trying to change because public opinion pointed to ‘defence anxiety’.

“I want to make it clear that there will be more than one change in selection … and not because of individual performance.”

When asked whether young players like Lee Kang-in were employed or not, he also showed a sign of discomfort.

“I think we will have to wait and see. It is difficult to predict what will happen during the game…I think it is important for young players to show their (talent) first in the club rather than in the national team…”

It is interpreted that he avoided immediate answers to criticism for not hiring Lee Kang-in, who is already recognized by his team, and expressed his thoughts around him.

Fans are increasingly interested in how Bento will show the results in the game against Cameroon, the last chance to check the foreign players.
