Dhoni’s participation in the next World Cup; Big games ahead for Team India

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is one of the best captains the cricket world has ever seen. Dhoni won the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ODI World Cup and the 2013 ICC Champions Trophy.

But since Dhoni left the Indian captaincy, India has not won any ICC tournament.

India suffered a humiliating defeat against England in the semi-final of the recently concluded T20 World Cup. Then there are strong criticisms against India.

With this, the demand to remove the captaincy of the Indian team became stronger.

Now there is a report that BCCI will hold talks with 2011 World Cup winner MS Dhoni. BCCI is also said to be considering Dhoni’s inclusion in Team India’s T20 setup.

Meanwhile, a meeting has also been decided with the BCCI players to discuss the poor performance of the recently concluded World Cup. All senior players and coaches will participate in the meeting.

Whether it is a 50-over game or the shortest format, Dhoni has a clear understanding of any match.

BCCI will use the comments and suggestions for upcoming ICC tournaments, especially the T20 World Cup 2024.

Dhoni was with the team in the T20 World Cup held in the UAE last year, but the player did not continue after that. But this time his association with the team will be for a long time, according to reports.

BCCI also plans to include foreign coaches in the team. Meanwhile, India is set to play the New Zealand series under the leadership of Hardik Pandya from November 18.
