Do not forget the importance of the worship of Divine Mercy: Pope Francis

Vatican City: Pope Francis has warned that the importance of the worship of Divine Mercy should not be overlooked and that we should allow ourselves to be transformed through Christ. The pope was delivering the message of the Eucharist on the Feast of the Apostles, commemorating the visit of the priests to the lawn. The pope’s words are a reminder that the pilgrimage of the priests to the meadow invites us to walk to Jesus, and that the completion of the journey of faith is before God.

‘The kings of the priests bow down and worship Jesus at the end of their journey. Worship is also important in the life of faith. Because the journey of faith is completed before God. When our needs and desires are reduced to one, the mind becomes diseased. But God purifies our desires and frees us from selfishness and opens us to love for our brothers and sisters and for God. Therefore, let us not forget the importance of the worship of Divine Mercy, ‘said the Pope.

Despite their fame and fortune, the kings of Pujara look for the birthplace of the Savior, even though they had reasons not to go. Instead of sitting idly by, their hearts are opened to new horizons. It was their inner desire that filled them with a healthy sense of pilgrimage and guided them. To desire, however, means to keep within oneself the fire of going beyond the visible and seeking.

Like the wise, we need desires and inspiration in our life journey as well. We must also learn to recover desires from the pooja kings. The kings travel when they see the rising of the star. We must learn to travel again every day like the wise. When the wise men arrived in Jerusalem, they searched for the divine child. Likewise, we must be prepared to ask questions and listen to the questions of our heart and conscience.

God often speaks to us through questions, rather than answers. After worshiping the Divine Savior, the priests finally return the other way. Likewise, we must be prepared to walk in new ways. The pope added that the church must continue its mission to open its ears and be guided by the Holy Spirit, who is guiding new paths, to those who want happiness and those who have lost hope.
