Google Stadia to start hardware refunds in two weeks

According to the US IT media The Verge, Google sent an email to customers who bought Stadia hardware products purchased from the Google Store, saying that they will start refunding within two weeks. Google plans to complete the refund before January 18, when the cloud gaming service, Stadia, ends.

When Google announced that Stadia would be officially shutting down, it said it would issue refunds to customers who purchased Stadia hardware and software. In addition, before sending the hardware refund information email, Google started refunding the Stadia software from the beginning of this month.

Meanwhile, after the end of Stadia’s business operation, games provided through the Stadia service will not be able to run. However, some developers, such as Bethesda and CD Projekt Red, have provided instructions on how to save Stadia games and transfer them to other platforms for use.
