In the last few days, many people have come out in support of the post about the struggle of the attacked actress. Everyone expressed support by sharing the actress’ post about her journey to survival. Actor Joy Mathew came on stage and faced criticism for not just sharing the post. Joy Mathew has responded to the criticism by stating that his position is the same then and now.
Under the post I posted yesterday, I saw a few people who were unfamiliar with reading the newspaper and only on Facebook advising me to ‘start first’. I have not cooperated with Dileep since I came to know that he is the accused. It has also removed me from the movies of those close to him. But none of that affected me. Because Joy Mathew writes that as long as there is a group of filmmakers and non – fanatical, intelligent audiences who accept honest positions, no criminal can suffocate me.
“It’s easy to say no to the victim, but no one to say no to the perpetrator,” Joy Mathew said yesterday. Later, many people came with comments. ‘Let you be a beginner’, many comment.
All the leading stars including Mammootty and Mohanlal came on the scene to support the actress.
The actress’ note was that for five years my name and personality had been suppressed under the violence that had befallen me. There have been a lot of attempts to humiliate, blame and isolate me or myself who have committed the crime. But all the while, some came forward breaking the silence. My voice does not stop to speak for me. I realize that I am not alone when I hear so many voices that stand for me today. “I will continue this journey so that justice is done, those who have done wrong are punished and no one else has had such an experience.”
