PM Modi to visit Bali, Indonesia from November 14-16 to attend G20 Summit G20 Summit: The Prime Minister will attend the G20 Summit in Bali

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Bali, Indonesia from November 14 to 16. The Prime Minister’s visit is to attend the G20 summit in Bali.

Prime Minister Modi leaves after accepting Indonesian President Joko Widodo’s invitation to attend the G-20 summit. During the visit, the Prime Minister will discuss important international and regional issues with the leaders of other countries. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Arindam Bagchi said the G-20 meeting will have three working sessions related to food and energy security, health and digital transactions.

Bagchi said that Prime Minister Modi will take over as the chairman of the G20 group at the closing session of the G20 summit. India will chair this group from December 1.

A few days ago Prime Minister Modi had said that India is going to chair the G-20 and this is a proof of the strength and capacity of 130 crore Indians. He had said that the G-20 summit in India will not be just a diplomatic meeting and the country sees it as a new responsibility. India sees this as the faith of the world and the Prime Minister said that there is an unprecedented curiosity in the world today to know India and understand India.

The Prime Minister also launched the G20 logo, theme and website the other day. The G-20 logo is inspired by the bright colors of the Indian national flag, saffron, white, green and blue. It also contains a lotus flower. The theme of India’s G-20 Presidency is ‘Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam’ or ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’.

Which countries are members of G-20?
These include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the UK, the United States and the European Union.
