[モスクワ 20日 ロイター] –Russian President Vladimir Putin said on the 20th that the pipeline “Nord Stream 1” that supplies natural gas from Russia to Europe was “unknown in what condition it will be returned” after the repaired turbine in Canada. He acknowledged that the gas supply through Nord Stream 1 could be stopped if was turned off.

Nord Stream 1 is expected to resume operation on the 21st after the end of regular maintenance.

In June, Russia’s state-owned Gazprom reduced Nord Stream 1’s gas supply to 40% due to delays in returning turbines under repair in Canada.

President Putin also warned that the supply could be further reduced due to delays in equipment maintenance and inspections.
