RBI raised interest rate for the fourth time; Home and personal loans to be standardized – RBI

MUMBAI: The Reserve Bank of India has raised interest rates by half a percentage point to 5.9 percent. This is the fourth time this year that the loan rate has been increased. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das informed that inflation continues.

With this, interest on home and personal loans will increase. After the Reserve Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting, Governor Shaktikanta Das announced the interest rates for the next 2 months. Interest has increased 4 times this year 1.9 percent so far. The next meeting of the MPC will be held in December.
