Sound on the theater wall; The young man was trapped for 2 days; Surprise | Theater | Wall | Trap | Rescue | Syrocuse | Newyork

Two days later, a young man was rescued from the wall of a movie theater. The 39-year-old was trapped inside the wall of the Landmark Theater in Syracuse, New York. He was released two days later by firefighters. The theater staff informed the fire brigade after hearing a noise from inside the wall. After clearing the wall and locating the trapped person with a fiber-optic camera, the fire brigade smashed the wall and rescued the man. He was naked when taken out.

The young man was trapped inside a wall near the men’s washroom in the theater. Theater director Mike Intraglitia said he had seen him on the theater premises a few days earlier. The staff thought he was gone because he had not been seen since. Mike said he may have come to the washroom, but it is not clear what happened.

After hiding in a crawl space inside the wall for two days, rescuers concluded that he had fallen into the walls. There were no outside injuries. It was later revealed that he was mentally ill and was being treated at a local hospital. No charges have been filed against him so far.
