Starting with the proposal to dismiss the Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min – Are the opposition and opposition parties burdened by budget constraints?

◀ Anchor ▶

Ultimately, the Democratic Party, struggling to propose the dismissal of Public Administration and Security Minister Lee Sang-min or proceed directly to the impeachment prosecution, decided to submit the impeachment motion.

It appears that the decision was made due to concern that the political burden would increase if the sochuan impeachment was announced immediately.

People power was criticized as “a ploy to increase political strife,” but the budget negotiations decided to continue.

This is the report of reporter Kim Gun-hwi.

The opinion of the majority of the general assembly of the Democratic Party was to propose a dismissal motion.

The Democratic Party decided to pass the motion to dismiss immediately at the full meeting the day after tomorrow.

“We intend to propose the dismissal motion at the plenary meeting on the 8th and 9th. We will also give the president another chance.”

A minority of opinion was to go straight to the impeachment prosecution.

It appears that if the impeachment prosecution goes directly, the burden of the budget bill being discussed at the last minute by the opposition and opposition parties and the subsequent parliamentary inquiry may be disrupted .

However, I did not throw in the impeachment prosecution card.

Even after the parliamentary inquiry, we decided to pursue impeachment again.

He criticized the strength of the people as a conspiracy by the opposition to take the lead by raising political strife.

“(On the outside, Minister Lee Sang-min), on the inside, doesn’t he hate everything in Yoon Seok-yeol’s government, including the police department? This motion for dismissal has no justification nor justification at all.”

However, he did not immediately take a hard line.

Discussions between the opposition parties and the opposition parties on the budget bill will continue as it is, and a general meeting of law makers will be held to decide whether or not to participate in the parliamentary investigation.

It seems we will have to wait until the last minute negotiations to see if the budget bill, which has already passed the legal deadline for almost a week, will be narrowed this week.
