Kamal K.M. Directed by Pada, it is set to hit theaters on March 11. Kamal Pada is based on the true struggle of Ayyankali Pada in Kerala 25 years ago.

The plot of ‘Pada’ is about the incident where four Ayyankali Pada collectors were taken hostage at the Palakkad Collectorate in 1996 as a protest against the Kerala government’s move to amend the tribal land law and its aftermath.

Balu (Vinayakan), Rakesh (Kunchacko Boban), Aravindan (Joju George) and Narayanankutty (Dileesh Pothen) are the four members of the Ayyankali army who are holding the collector hostage.
